      Verdict

Unusual to see Sir Mark Prescott unveiling juveniles at this time of year but far from it to see him venturing north with a two-year-old. Liber has to be taken very seriously for the Newmarket yard and the market will almost certainly offer valuable clues as to expectations. However, at this stage, MOUNT SEYMOUR sets a decent standard, progressing well from a satisfactory Beverley debut to hunt up the Brocklesby third, Mayfield Girl, at Thirsk. The booking of Silvestre De Sousa strengthens confidence about the Tinkler charge. Check the market too for the O'Meara newcomer, Moss Quito, whilst Relight My Fire and Roland can both be expected to progress from their respective debut efforts.
