In depth

Verdict

One More Round, Ellens Academy and Red Rudy are the trio to look at most closely in this trappy claimer, with One More Round taken to come on for a decent re-appearance effort. Red Rudy took a similar race at Kempton last time. It was only a four runner affair though, and although a winner twice previously, she is thoroughly exposed and may be less effective on Turf. Former Group performer Ellens Academy drops to claiming company for the second time, having won on the previous occasion. He won three times last season but was beaten a long way on his re-appearance and is taken on. One More Round won a classified contest at Haydock in September on fast ground, and has shaped well in claimers since, not beaten far on his re-appearance. He looks to be well in at the weights and One More Round will be sharper for that first run of the season and can take this.
