Verdict

Know doubt Mark Johnston would love to win this contest having trained Double Trigger, and so his newcomer Grand Dream has to be respected here, however Monsieur Dumas is just given the vote here, with Zoom One also expected to run well. Tom Tate's colt has looked very green in his two races to date, but did start to get the hang of things late on when third to stable companion Greek Envoy here last time. The step up in trip will give him more time to settle this afternoon and he can go close for his in form yard. Grand Dream a son of Grand Lodge, is a half brother to five winners and because of his connections he should be monitored very closely in the betting. Meanwhile Zoom One showed plenty of promise on his Chepstow debut and should be capable of plenty of improvement. The pick of the others could be Watch Out, but Monsieur Dumas should have learnt plenty from his two runs to date and could be ready to strike.
