In depth

Verdict

Looks The Business certainly did when landing an apprentice handicap last time but with his fast ground form slightly questionable we prefer MYSTIFIED, who should finally get his nose back in front while Terenzium is also in our thinking. Second on his last five starts, including in a handicap hurdle, the pick has a decent chance of ending that run at the course that provided his last success. That was just before he began his current sequence and he is weighted to be challenging. Four lengths was the margin of success for Looks The Business on his last start and while his mark still looks fair after a four pound rise his recent form on fast ground leaves plenty of doubts. Terenzium ran well in defeat under his current burden last time and his novice hurdle form has him well in the picture too while Patavium was a winner when five pounds better off last time and should also be in contention with some decent jumps form also supporting a challenge. Not the easiest race to finish off with but Mystified can make consistency count.
