In depth

Verdict

Souvenance is nicely bred and should be monitored in the betting, but on this occasion we will side with experience and give the vote to Gates Of Eden, Zaharath Al Bustan and Sunday Smile are also expected to be involved. Michael Bell's filly showed plenty of promise on her debut, finishing an excellent third behind Snow Crystal. The second has given the form a boost and with improvement expected she looks the best option today. Sunday Smile improved on her debut effort to finish third to the smart Nanina at Pontefract, she is obviously going the right way and should appreciate the extra distance. Zaharath Al Bustan wasn't beaten far by Wedaad at Folkestone last time and should again be fighting for some place money. Souvenance is a daughter of Hernando and hails from a yard capable of getting one ready first time out. So all in all a decent looking maiden and Gates Of Eden could be up to the task.
