Verdict

WOODSLEY HOUSE is on a roll and he can win again here; the list of dangers is headed by War And Peace and Steel Blue. The selection arrives here with plenty to recommend him - he won in good style last time when he beat Avonturr, he is a course and distance winner and he will go on the ground. He does have a penalty to shoulder here but he should be up to the task and is a confident pick. War And Peace is interesting as he is lightly raced and he was returning from a break last time at York. He ran a respectable race that day and there should be more to come so if there is strong market support then it could pay to take the hint. Steel Blue was not disgraced last time and the return to this trip will work in his favour. He is clearly in good heart and he should be capable of making the frame. Moonage Daydream is another course-and-distance winner but he ran a shocker at Ripon last time and on the back of that effort he is hard to recommend. Woodsley House can complete the hat-trick.
