      Verdict

This is tougher than the race Painted Tail won at Wolverhampton a week ago and Dean Iarracht will need to step up on the form of his recent victory in a lowly amateurs race at Beverley. Neither Auto Mac nor Military Call have raced over this longer trip before, but Amazing Blue Sky has claims on his recent third over C&D. SCIAMPIN has shown steady improvement this season culminating in a cosy win at Salisbury and looks capable of defying a 6lb higher mark with further progress likely. Marco Botti's charge gets the vote.
