Verdict

There is only 1lb between the Barry Hills-trained Grey Bunting and Weekend Millionair, from the stable of David Evans, on official BHA ratings so there should not be much to choose between the pair today and both have claims but it may be worth siding with CLEARLY CRYPTONITE. Henry Cecil has his string in good form so the lack of a previous run is unlikely to be a problem for the son of El Prado, who takes the eye on pedigree. Mark Johnston's Music City also lacks a previous run which should not be a problem but the trip may be as the son of Dalakhani is bred for stamina and he is likely to do better over further. Richard Fahey saddles a son of Azamour in Opening Nite and he too has to be considered given the form of the yard although more solid claims are held by Grey Bunting, who is marginally preferred to Weekend Millionair among those to have raced. The vote though goes the way of Clearly Cryptonite, who can make a winning debut for Henry Cecil.
