In depth

Verdict

Director's Forum was beaten a distance at Naas while Quigleys Express made his debut in a maiden hurdle at Gowran where he ran quite well. Fruits Of Gold has been well beaten between the flags so this should go to a newcomer and SUMMER STAR, a filly by Golan out of a mare from a useful Flat background, gets the vote. There'll be plenty of interest in the debut of Kauto Grand Mogol, a half-brother to the one and only Kauto Star while another French-bred, Ange Blanc, is certain to attract support being a brother to a winning miler.
