Dual winning point-to-pointer The Bar Stool has done much better over hurdles since the faster ground arrived and there was plenty to like about his third behind Ball Of Blue in a similar race at Limerick a fortnight ago when King Of Redfield was fourth, Hot Friend sixth and Najemi falling when in mid-division. Ball Of Blue had earlier finished fourth behind Meadows Thyne at Gowran when CAFFIENE CRAZE was an excellent runner-up and Daniel Miley's mare has plenty going for her at the bottom end of this handicap. Pipers Blaze has been having problems with the fences since being sent chasing but he's much better over hurdles and was in excellent heart in similar company last summer.
