SAMANNTOM (NAP) had been threatening to win for some time before getting off the mark in very convincing fashion at Thurles last week. He's been sent here with a 4lb penalty though that shouldn't prevent a quick double. Duty Dance also enters the fray in winning form having ploughed through the mud to score at Thurles and she's a winner over this track and trip. If the ground turns testing she will take some beating while Oscar Sam will make a bold bid to supplement his Navan victory though this looks tougher with a 7lb rise to contend with. Pops Well ran a cracking race at Clonmel in December but a shocker at Thurles last month and Hairy O'Malley doesn't look to have been done any favours for his handicap debut.
