Quiet Thought was not beaten far when runner-up at Killarney in May and is worth noting. Baby Whizz and Stotan made their debuts here back in April and the betting should give a good indication of what is expected on their return to action. JOE SMOOTH had his first run, also at this track, only last month and showed up well before fading in the closing stages to finish third. He ran much better than the beaten distance of 18 lengths suggests given the winner was well clear of the field and has since won again. Noel Meade's charge gets the nod.
