Verdict

The high-class Voler De La Vedette has won this for the past two years and Elyaadi finished third a year ago. She's been competing at a very high level on the Flat this summer but may need further. The very useful bumper Dazzling Susie had just half-a-length to spare over Jacksonslady when they met over two miles here in May and should confirm the form over this slightly longer trip though the runner-up has a fitness advantage. Chaperoned will be having her first start outside of juvenile company over timber but is a very promising type having finished runner-up in a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse. She made a very pleasing return to action on the Flat a week ago and looks a threat to all. SHADOW EILE continues on the upgrade and it was her superb jumping that won the day at Listowel a month ago. That was only her second start over timber and she can remain unbeaten, especially as the progressive Definite Class has a double penalty to contend with.
