Verdict

Some star performers have won this in the past including Moscow Flyer in 1999 but these don't look an inspiring bunch. Our Girl Lucy started favourite for a Cork bumper in April after winning two point-to-points and didn't run badly. She'll be better suited to hurdling and is on the short-list along with Sword Of Destiny, who won a bumper on heavy ground at Gowran last November before a moderate effort on faster going at Fairyhouse. DINGLE BAY pulled up in two points before making a promising start over timber at Navan last month when staying on over the minimum trip. That should be good enough for this, though Rawnaq looks a threat after an improved effort behind Steps To Freedom at Fairyhouse.
