Hollymount King did best of those who ran behind Burrenbridge Lodge at Wexford where Strut In Style, Umindme and Mac Tigue were well beaten. That's only moderate form while Why But Why had earlier been narrowly beaten by that winner on quicker ground at Roscommon before a poor effort on testing going at Listowel. Blue Cannon didn't show much on the level but is the type Noel Meade does so well with though Gordon Elliott looks to have the answer to this with HIS EXCELLENCY, a winner on yielding ground over 1m2f for John Oxx in June and a half-brother to the useful Leg Spinner. Kalanore is another from the Flat who is related to winning jumpers and is one to keep an eye on.
