Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer Panther Claw has had just three runs over regulation fences and makes his handicap debut with a big weight though he ran very well behind Rich Revival at Fairyhouse. Miss Pepperpot has been competing at a much higher level since completing a double just over a year ago and must be considered despite still looking a few pounds high. Whats On The Menu is still a maiden over fences but wasn't far behind Luke's Benefit here on New Year's Eve and a repeat of that would see him go close but it's UNOCCUPIED who is handed the vote. He hadn't shown much before grinding the opposition into the ground on very heavy going at Tramore and with the longer trip certain to suit he can follow up. Sang Bleu may do best of the remainder.
