The in-form trio of THIS ONE'S FOR EDDY, Jebel Tara and Society Music all make the short-list with Castlebury and Shadowtime also vying for places. This One's For Eddy made all the running to land a maiden success on turf by four and a half lengths over this course and distance. It's no great surprise to see him turned out under a penalty and he's well drawn to repeat the same tactics. The application of blinkers helped Jebel Tara to get the better of Society Music and Shadowtime amongst others at Thirsk. He is very well treated on his old form so there should be no problem with a 4lb rise in the weights and he has to be feared. Shadowtime and Society Music are weighted to bridge the gap but the return to Pontefract is in favour of the latter as she has won here twice and made the frame a further three times in twelve attempts. Castlebury looked tripless at times last term but he's relatively lightly raced and is only four so may yet come into his own and the best of his form puts him in the picture. This looks competitive but This One's For Eddy routed the field last time and could prove hard to catch again.
