    Verdict

David Barron's KIELDER is the clear form pick of the sextet lining up for this auction maiden race following respectable efforts in defeat in all three starts in maidens, most recently at Redcar, and he gets the vote to gain a deserved first success with the main dangers rated as Pelmanism and Clare Harrier. Alan Berry's colt showed improved form when chasing home Crianza in that Redcar maiden when the selection finished fourth but his earlier form had been moderate and he is far from certain to confirm the form with Kielder. Eve Johnson Houghton's Ellen Vannin has yet to even be placed in seven starts and is hard to recommend. Neither Harley Fern nor J'amour Dance make any appeal and of more interest may be Kevin Ryan's Pelmanism, who has shown some signs of ability but he needs to improve to get the better of the selection, Kielder.
