Man Of Harlech is a half-brother to eight winners including several at Group level. He has no fancy entries and may be best watched for now as ARANTES looks the one to be on. Mick Channon's colt put a moderate opening run behind him with a fine effort in what looked a strong Sandown maiden won by Windshear. He could probably do with a bit of rain but should still have too much stamina for Act Of Charity, who couldn't quite get to Spark Plug at Bath.
