Verdict

With his yard in such good form, In Focus has to be considered despite a moderate effort at York last June as he'd shown promise on his previous start at Carlisle. Lord Clyde had shown good pace in his first season and missed the break on his comeback so could be capable of better while Boy In The Bar is fitted with blinkers after still looking in need of experience at Nottingham where he came off a true line when challenging the winner For Ayman. He looks best of those with experience though all eyes here will be on ETERNITYS GATE. He's a 190,000gns yearling bred by Cheveley Park and his dam has produced winners with her first two foals so hopefully Peter Chapple-Hyam's charge will keep up the family tradition.
