Verdict

This has been run seven times and no favourite has been successful. Shadowtime is a specialist at Beverley but won over this C&D in September, though he invariably needs his comeback run. Green Howard has done very well to win five races from a dozen starts and is just 2lb higher than for his victory at Yarmouth in August. Frontier Fighter has his first start on Turf but there's no reason why he shouldn't transfer his good form from the all-weather, a remark that also applies to recent Wolverhampton runner-up Rossetti. With Brian Ellison's horses still going well, DOLPHIN ROCK, who made all over the course and distance earlier this month, is taken to defy a 3lb weight rise and complete a quick double.
