    Verdict

The fillies Burren View Lady and Trixie Malone will need to step up but the remaining quartet can be given chances including the newcomer Sarjinsky, a half-brother to four winners including the Group 1 winner Carry On Katie. He's definitely worth a market check as is BASTION, who started favourite on his debut at Kempton in November. He has a superb pedigree being the 12th foal of a mare who has produced ten winners including a Grade 1 winner and a chance is taken on his fitness. Mayaasem didn't do much wrong in his first season but he's another who is making a comeback as is Anderton, who improved with each run culminating in a very good effort at York.
