    Verdict

DUNCAN, who has a stamina laden pedigree, is the pick to break his maiden tag at the third time of asking following two pleasing efforts. Having commenced over a mile he was stepped up to 10 furlongs at Windsor last time but was just out-pointed in the closing stages by what looked a smart sort in Island Vista. The fourth has subsequently won at Goodwood giving the form some credence and while he is likely to be more effective over further, this maiden should not take much winning. Mysterious Moon should be watched in the market with Godolphin having saddled some smart newcomers to score in recent weeks while Surrealism, a half-brother to Luca Cumani's Bauer, is another for whom a market check should be kept given the stables strength in the juvenile division this season. Mubrook is another superbly bred juvenile in the field who should improve with time while Cape Tribulation is presumably been prepared for a jumps outing. Duncan can deservedly break his maiden tag here.
