Verdict

CAPTAIN FLASHHEART can land the finale, but a case can also be made for several others including Chadwell Spring, Aussie Blue and Wisemans Diamond. The selecion arrives here in good form having won at Kempton when he beat Layer Cake. He looked like one to stay on the right side of that day as he won with plenty in hand, and as he is unexposed there should be plenty more to come. Chadwell Spring also won last time but a 6lbs penalty here might be enough to find her out and the drop in trip is also far from ideal. Aussie Blue is a course and distance winner and he returned to form with a good effort to chase home Arizona John at Redcar last time. Wisemans Diamond has been in good form but she gave the impression that the handicapper might be catching up with her last time and we will stick with Captain Flashheart as the pick.
