    Verdict

Double Aspect can foil the hat-trick bid of Trance, with Jeepstar likely to make his presence felt. This looks a fair contest but Sir Michael Stoute always does well with his visits to the Yorkshire track and we shall take Double Aspect to make up for his defeat behind King Of Dreams on his handicap bow. The colt was disappointing that day, but this step up in trip could be the making of him as he has plenty of middle-distance stamina on the dam's side. With Kieren Fallon on board he will be a popular choice to beat Trance who lines up in search of his third straight win after successes at Doncaster and Ayr. The pace was moderate at the Scottish track though and he will find this tougher off a higher mark. Jeepstar should like the trip, having been found to be onepaced so far, but Double Aspect might have found his niche over this distance and gets the chance to prove that here.
