    Verdict

Colonel Mak won easily over track and trip in July but is 9lb higher today. Majestic Myles has tumbled down the weights since last winning though tends to save his best for Chester nowadays. The veteran Baby Strange has each-way claims with a recent run under his belt and Can You Conga won a higher grade sprint than this at Newmarket in August. The latter's stablemate and Ayr Silver Cup winner Ancient Cross and Louis The Pious are others with a shout, but the vote goes to ANNUNCIATION. He'll have come on from a recent reappearance at Doncaster and last year's Shergar Cup Sprint winner should be bang there at the finish.
