Verdict

Forget Me Not Lane won a shade cosily at Newcastle last time making it hard to gauge how much he had left in the tank. He's upped in class off a 9lb higher mark today, however, and is taken on with CORSETRY. She's clearly not in the same class as her illustrious half-sisters Shiva and Light Shift but should be up to winning this after an improved effort at Nottingham last time. Muntasir makes his handicap debut and the Godolphin colt may improve past Eshaab, a C&D winner in heavy ground last month, but Gabrial's Star could prove a different proposition on today's faster going and is just preferred to Journalistic.
