Verdict

MISS KECK was an easy winner last time and a 6lbs penalty is unlikely to stop her following up so while Mutual Friend is interesting on his return to the flat the filly has the call with Calculating possible value for a place. In need of her first run back the pick duly stepped up on that form with a very easy score at Ripon over a similar trip. Had she been carrying her penalty then she still would have won so she looks well-in. Mutual Friend was fair enough on the level the last time he took to these ranks. He is now a classy novice chaser and should go well off this mark back in this sphere. Calculating was only just held off this rating at Goodwood on his last run so should show up in the mix again while Inchadamph has won is only start over this trip and is competitively treated if fit enough on his return. This looks a two horse race and are preference is for Miss Keck.
