VERACITY is given the vote to land this feature race ahead of Tazbar and Let It Be. Frankie Dettori is rarely seen at a Pontefract meeting on an autumn Monday and that could be a good indication in itself that Veracity has a great chance of winning this race. His form last season was decent with Group form to his name. He was thought good enough to run against Group 1 company when finishing fifth in the St. Ledger and now dropped into this grade he has to be given the utmost respect. Tazbar is a grade 2 winning hurdler and was improving into a top class prospect over jumps last season. He reverts to the level for the first time in his career today and although he is given respect we cant help feeling that this may be used as a pipe opener for a hurdles campaign this winter. Let It Be is the stables other runner who has landed a four timer this summer. As a consequence he has shot up to a mark of 75 but will be up against it at the weights against some horses rated a lot higher. So for the winner we return to Veracity.
