    Verdict

UMVERTI comes here in the best form and is preferred to Recession Proof and Bavarica in what looks a competitive heat for the series. Any market move for Parisian Dream, the mount of leading series jockey Simon Walker, would look interesting however Umverti looks a horse on the upgrade. Neville Bycroft's four-year-old comes here on the back of two wins, at Beverely and over this course and distance, and is obviously a fan of an uphill finish; this filly should be backed until she loses, despite an 8lb rise in the weights. Torch Of Freedom is an interesting contender because his trainer is hitting some form and also this is just the 16th horse that the trainer has sent here in the last five years. Dechiper is better than he was able to show last time out, Kalasam is ready to strike when the market agrees and the booking of Jake Greenall points to a big show, whilst Johnston's Baby is well-handicapped on old form. Recession Proof won well at Newbury the other day for this jockey and he has an unexposed profile that makes plenty of appeal. Bavarica, We're Delighted and Fell Pack are all considered, however it is Umverti who can complete the hat-trick.
