Verdict

The step up to 2m seemed to suit Birdwatcher last time so he could be vulnerable here and has yet to win on turf. Lady Gabrielle and Kodicil both started favourite last time and have to be considered, while Szabo's Destiny won over C&D in April but appears to have gone backwards since successful over 1m6f at Nottingham next time. Kempton second Warneford doesn't seem be getting any closer to breaking his duck so we'll give a tentative vote here to BOUGGATTI. Back on fast ground, Willie Jarvis' gelding is well worth another try over this trip as he was doing his best work at the finish when third over 1m2f at Kempton last time.
