Verdict

BEAU LAKE should continue to thrive as long as the ground stays soft and can land his hat-trick here under useful 7lb claimer Kieron Edgar, even though he carries a penalty for last week's all-the-way course and distance victory. Today's opposition is weak with Bathwick Junior pulled up at Lingfield after winning a modest heat at Chepstow. Huntingdon runner-up Fidelor needs a longer trip but Lady Bridget is back on a winning mark and Little Roxy could run around here blindfold and will be all the better for a run at Lingfield.
