In depth

Verdict

Novice hurdle winner CURRENT EVENT has taken very well to chasing and won his two races to date in impressive fashion. There's much more to come from him and he cannot be opposed. Nobunaga will be receiving 14lb but his two runs over fences to date have shown little while winning point-to-pointer Doctor Ric was beaten a distance on his latest start over hurdles. Farleigh House was very consistent on fast ground last summer and will have needed his comeback run at Stratford.
