In depth

Verdict

WIND SHUFFLE can see off Duty Free and Sir Boss. Jim Goldie's charge ran a fair second behind Riverscape on his last visit to this track and with Gordon Elliott's charge going in again earlier in the week, the form is there for all to see. Duty Free is still a maiden over hurdles but on official figures, he cannot be discounted. It is to be hoped that he has recovered since his recent fall at Cartmel. Sir Boss has won on the flat for Don Cantillon and now switches his attentions to the winter game. He stayed 1m4f on the flat so there should be few concerns about staying this trip today. Via Archimede won a recent handicap on the flat in Ireland for Jim Bolger and makes a debut for Lucinda Russell. The market needs to be watched closely. Oh Landino and Yes Minister have been big prices on their starts under National Hunt rules and appear best opposed today. Wind Shuffle looks the most open to improvement and gets the vote.
