In depth

Verdict

Flying Doctor and Vallani both arrive here chasing a hat-trick, the latter having scored twice over C&D recently. Mahkzoon also likes it here while Bondage has been knocking on the door in Ireland since losing a race in the stewards' room at Sligo in July. Is It Me was a game winner over 3m3f at Newton Abbot after finishing second to Flying Doctor at Cartmel but the pick of the weights could be SOPRANO. Henry Brooke takes 3lb off Jim Goldie's 10-year-old meaning he's effectively only a pound higher than when winning at Kelso late last year and he's had a couple of outings on the Flat lately to blow away any cobwebs. Dj Milan has ability but has disappointed since winning at Wetherby in May.
