In depth

Verdict

Wingman has been in good form recently and can continue his run with another victory here at the expense of Lennon and Rehearsal. The selection was a winner on heavy ground at Plumpton back in Feburary and has travelled a fair way from Brighton for the right ground conditions. The track hac received enough rain over the past few days to give it plenty of cut which Wingman prefers so with conditions to suit he can take the beating. Lennon will pose as the biggest danger to the selection. He made hay in the autumn and winter winning four back to back races. The handicapper has taken note as a result of Lennons early season victories and although he was not disgraced at Aintree last time out he needs further improvement to win more races. Rehearsal disappointed at Ludlow last time out having prevoiusly winning their. That was a well below par effort and will have to put that run well behind him. If doing so and coming back to form then he holds a definate chance. But for the winner we return to Wingman.
