Verdict

Bertie Milan bids to win this for the second year running off a 5lb higher mark but couldn't be ruled out. Big Society might have been the selection had he not been engaged to run here yesterday and Gunna Be A Devil had an entry in the same race over a shorter trip. Full Jack had Dystonia's Revenge behind when third over 3m2f at Kelso and could go well while Grove Pride won over 3m5f at Taunton so should stay. Bally Braes is slipping back towards a fair mark and is another to consider. SHARNEY SIKE didn't quite get home over 4m1f in the Eider Chase at Newcastle in February but this may just be within his range. He again jumped well when third at Kelso last time so might be the one to catch here, though it would be no surprise to see Wicklow Lad get closer today.
