Idarah has leading claims and can account for Instructor and Tarkani, with Flashy Beau worth a mention. Idarah is one of just two four-year-olds in this line-up, and has to give weight away all round, but he also has the best form on show, and should run a big race. Len Lungo's charge, successful on the Flat for William Haggas, jumped well when opening his account over timber at Hexham in April, and lost nothing in defeat when stepped up in trip for his handicap debut here later that month, finishing second to Le Briar Soul. The feeling is that at this stage of his career over hurdles, he will be better served by the drop back to a more suitable distance though, and he looks sure to take the beating with his turn of foot. Instructor was in action on the Flat just 11-days ago when fourth in a class 2 handicap at Newmarket, but although likely to pay to follow in time, he may need a faster surface. Tarkani did not beat much at Tramore, and the market will tell us if Flashy Beau is expected to improve on a string of duck-eggs, so we have no hesitation in nominating Idarah.
