In depth

Verdict

A trappy maiden hurdle here but something has to win and the principals look to be Linda's Theatre, Or de Grugy and Castle Craigs with the tentative vote is given to Linda's Theatre. The selection looked a horse to follow when beating Another Lord on her debut but has not been seen since. However, her trainer is able to get one fit after a long absence and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Or de Grugy rates the main danger on his latest third behind Ramsden Boy. He should appreciate this longer trip and should be noted in the market but he is more exposed than the selection. Castle Craigs hails from the same stable as the selection and he looks the second string on jockey bookings. Of the remainder, Save The Bacon is from a shrewd Irish yard and should be watched closely in the market but for the winner we return to Linda's Theatre to small stakes.
