Verdict

On paper this handicap chase looks a two horse race and while Flemross should be in a different class to his rivals the gelding has to concede a lot of weight to all of his rivals so instead we turn to HE'S A HOTSHOT with Benny The Piler the best of the rest. The pick is in receipt of just under two stone from his rival and although Gordon Elliot's runner has yet to score he has being running well in defeat recently and he goes particularly here. Flemross is rated at a very useful 129 so if he can over come these particularly bad terms he'll be hard to beat. The fact remains though he is under extreme weight but his record of two wins from three starts over this trip offers encouragement on his handicap debut over fences. Benny The Piler now looks dangerously well handicapped now chasing off a career low mark while the other three in the race Thunder Hawk, Hollows Mill and Huncheon Paddy are realistically looking for major improvements to score. It's tight on these terms between the main protagonists but with such a weight advantage He's A Hotshot should score.
