Verdict

Cottage Acre is lightly-raced and was runner-up over a shorter trip here last month. He could go well, despite top weight, while Lucinda Russell runs both Carlisle winner Go Silver Bullet and the consistent Et Maintenant. Or De Grugy finished ahead of Third Level Tom and the latter over C&D last time while Sotovik usually runs well here. But there is probably more to come from STEADY TIGER, who makes his handicap mark off a very decent mark and has more scope than the majority of today's rivals. He could be a bit of value in an open race.
