Welsh Dream may prove to be the answer in a tricky contest, with Bodfari Signet, I Got Rhythm and Merryvale Man just three more to conjure with. This class E handicap hurdle is a real head-scratcher with nothing standing out on form, and the fact that Jimmy Lambe has three entered further complicates matters. So, it is with no great confidence that Welsh Dream is put up as the selection. Sandy Forster's inmate always paid his way on the Flat and has won twice over hurdles, most recently at Kelso in February, but the fact that he has failed to shine on two subsequent outings makes him no good thing. However, if on a going day, he could easily win this, and in the hope that he shows his good side, we make him the pick. Bodfari Signet has been keeping good company and will like the ground, but has been set a stiff task giving plenty of weight away, while I Got Rhythm has to produce more than when winning in selling company at Catterick in March. There is little between Kariana Key's pair Mister Moussac and Merryvale Man, with the latter just preferred, but for the winner we return to Welsh Dream.
