In depth

Verdict

This looks wide-open and is complicated by the fact that Gordon Elliott saddles both Winter Music, ridden by Davy Condon, and Snoqualmie Chief, partnered by A P McCoy. Early Applause was third at Market Rasen last month but Slaney Star only won a seller at Worcester and changed hands after. DEFINITELY BETTER was second over track and trip last month and still appears to be improving so gets a tentative vote, though Carthaginian is the type to improve now going handicapping.
