In depth

Verdict

Endeavor is in a rich vein of form and made a winning return over fences at Kelso in May. But he's not won in five previous visits to the track and looks too close in the weights to TOLEDO GOLD. The latter appreciated fast ground when winning here last month and ran well for a long way under a penalty at Hexham last time. Kaolak looked a nice prospect a couple of years ago but had to be dropped into a seller over hurdles last time to recapture the winning thread and failed to complete in two earlier runs over fences. Twentypoundluck has his sights lowered, however, and rates more of a danger than Muwalla and Lord Of Drums.
