Based on his old form when a runner up in a listed contest last year Aalsmeer is well treated on handicap debut but in two maidens this term he hasn't matched that form. The booking of Paul Hanagan aboard the consistent Sharp Eclipse looks a statement of intent after another improved run last time and with scope for more Kevin Ryan's charge is highly respected. This time, though, the vote falls with the improving STRATTON BANKER, with Stuart Williams' charge looking well treated under a penalty for his win when tried over this trip for the first time.
