Verdict

Dark Ages finished second at Leicester last time, but was still beaten five lengths and BEAU MISTRAL is preferred. She was beaten around the same distance from an unfavourable draw in a better race at Chester and the return to this more conventional track will suit. Brimstone Hill showed a big improvement on his latest start and can figure with further progress, while Kieren Fallon gets the leg up on Chater Garden, who showed some early pace on his debut at Kempton. Finbar is a half-brother to a Listed sprint winner and should be noted on his debut.
