Verdict

TRES FROIDE is taken to complete a quickfire double but the likes of Bosamcliff or Hurricane Thomas should have a say in proceedings. The selection has been raised by 9lbs for her 5 length win at Redcar but that still leaves her on a mark which is 16lbs lower than her initial rating so she has the scope to go in again. Bosamcliff comes into this race on the back of a couple of decent runs over a mile and has won over this trip from a higher mark which puts her right in the frame for the top honours. Hurricane Thomas hails from a yard that has enjoyed a fine season and is better than he was able to show last time. He goes well for this pilot and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back to form. Iguacu won a similar race over course and distance in July so merits consideration with Astronomical and Amroth also worth bearing in mind but preference is for Tres Froide.
