Verdict

Multiple all-weather winner SHAWKANTANGO was allowed to race off a 10lb lower mark back on turf at Newcastle last week and duly won. He still has a bit to spare at the weights despite a 7lb rise and can confirm the form with runner-up Boucher Garcon. The latter had earlier beaten Dispol Grand and Chosen One at Catterick and should be in the firing-line once again while Methaaly is lowered 7lb for his return to this surface but his losing run stretches back to 2010 now. Polytrack winner Invigilator is open to improvement on only his fourth outing on turf and Steel City Boy scored on fast ground at Warwick last year but is 5lb higher today.
