Saeed bin Suroor has won this in three of the last four years and has chances of doing so again with Craigstown who has shown promise in his two starts and should improve for the extra furlong but preference is for Andaman Sunset, with Dark Prospect rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has shown improved form in each of his last two starts and a reproduction of his latest effort at Redcar may suffice for Geoff Wragg's colt. Stablemate St Jean Cap Ferrat has been largely disappointing so far and of more interest may be Mark Johnston's Fly With The Stars, who should improve for his debut outing. Johnston is also represented by Vice Consul but he is likely to do better over further next season and of more interest may be the Michael Jarvis-trained Dark Prospect, who is bred to be useful. A market move for the last mentioned would be of interest but preference is for Andaman Sunset who is taken to gain an overdue first success.
