In depth

Verdict

A modest race by any stretch of the imagination and SHILLA can come on for her recent outing at Bath. Henry Candy's filly hadn't seen a racecourse for almost three months since her seasonal reappearance, and she should have few issues with the forecast conditions having obliged previously on very quick ground at Bath. Shades Of Silk has won two handicaps on the Fibresand at Southwell and he now has to produce the goods on Turf. The assessor has dropped He's My Boy by 10lb since he made his first foray into handicaps and James Fanshawe tries him in a first time visor. Le Laitier ran with considerable promise over course and distance recently, and Scott Dixon's charge is sure to be thereabouts again. Pensax Lad returns back over six furlongs having found it happening all too quickly over the minimum trip at Leicester.
